Other Donations
A sale at the Ewhurst home of well-known artist
Alex Creswell gave the appeal a £10,000
boost.
The superb pictures, were sold to buyers from
all over the South of England, with a percentage
boosting the appeal. With gift aid, the sale raised
£10,000.
On Thursday 18th March the staff from Cranleigh
Leisure Centre will be putting on their cycle
shorts for a 100 mile ride over 10 hours to raise
money for the appeal.
If you would like to sponsor them call in at the
Recreation Centre in Village Way, or at the hospital
shop and ask for forms.
Jackie Manser on 01483 271414, Charles Hurtley
on 272052 and John Eagles 274181 are all running
for us in the London Marathon.
Please make it worthwhile by sponsoring them.
They are all busy pounding the pavements in in
and around Cranleigh as they are in training at
the moment so you may have to leave your name
on their answer phones. Or call in at the shop.
Alfold sports council has recently donated £200
- Cranleigh Rotary Club £2,000 and the Wildwood
