Chairman.

A Deputy Lieutenant and a former High Sheriff of Surrey, he was a Justice of the Peace in London for 28 years and has had a long and varied career in industry and the City of London . He was a member of the Council of Lloyd's from 1990 to 1997. He is currently chairman of Telecom Plus plc and Hampden Agencies Ltd, the largest provider of capital to the Lloyd's insurance market.

       

Michael Newnham ACIS

Secretary.

30 years in the Financial Services sector with 20 at Board level. Currently Chief Executive of a Life Insurance Company with several Non Executive Board roles.

Colin R Wood ACIB

Treasurer.

A career in banking has included senior roles in London, Hong Kong and a secondment to London First Centre, London’s inward investment agency.

       

Brain Cheeseman

Once Chairman and now Vice Chairman of the Parish Council with an active role in supporting local businesses and societies including the 'Action for Cranleigh' group, the C.A.B, the Arts Centre and Cranleigh Choral Society.

Mrs Cecilia Nutting MBE

With a long involvement with fund raising for charities, she was a member of the council of Macmillan Cancer Relief, chairman of Macmillan Cancer Relief in Surrey and she started a large number of fund raising events for the charity in London for which she was awarded an MBE. She has also been involved with the NSPCC in London and Surrey and is currently actively involved with Speakability, a small charity helping stroke victims and HASTE which provides services at the Royal Surrey County Hospital .
